If we take a look at the meaning of the content, content is something that equips the information, ideas, and messages in the form of writing, photo, and video. Content is essential for all circles who promote the brands, share the opinions, or do the champaigns as the good contents can give many positive impacts both to the content creators and the audiences.

By having the proper contents, the important thing we need to do is promoting our contents to people outside. The aims of promoting content are spreading the information to the audiences, getting high visits from the readers on our website, and persuading the viewers to make an action. To reach those goals, we need several ways of content promotion. Below are the top seven ways to promote the content effectively:

In promoting our content, we cannot use all platforms that already exist because each content has a different target audience, and each social media platform also has its characteristic. If the promotion succeeds, we can expand our promotion to other social media platforms. In the end, we can understand that there is someone who uses Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to promote the content. While other people only use Line or even Whatsapp in promoting the content.

Every content creator has to compete with others for getting the attention of the audiences in social media. Before posting the content, we can maximise social media features to make our content more engaging. Adding the title, description, picture, or video while we promote our content on Facebook and the utilisation of hashtag on Twitter or Instagram also can make our content more engaging are the example of the application of social media features. Therefore, our content will get more visitors than before.

The keyword is one of the critical elements in promoting the content because all of the searches are started from writing the keyword. Doing a survey related to the keyword of your content is fundamental. We should select the relevant words to our keyword. Next, we can create the schedule for a regular post such as weekly or monthly. By having the schedule of posting, we can decide what kind of contents that we will make and post in a certain time.

The comment column creates the interaction between the content creators and the viewers directly in the form of discussion or quiz. If there are a lot of comments on your content, it will cause a significant impact as the person who sees your content for the first time will interest in your content.

Email broadcast holds crucial roles in promoting content. Email broadcast sets up excellent communication with old viewers, current viewers, even for future viewers. It is a little bit different between the promotion through social media and email broadcast. When we make the content and post it on social media, we look like addressing the viewers as a whole. All of those ways above are easy to apply to our content for sure. Research and trial for promoting our content are needed to make an appropriate strategy. Good contents are important definitely.
